Guess who's back! I know you guys missed me – I was the O'Reilly to all of the Rachel Maddows on this blog. Check the blogs from '06-'07 and see my consistent arguments against Hawkins – while all the rest of you guys were ready to crown him as the next HOF coach. Well, hate to say I told you so. So, are you guys back to reality now, or is this season gonna be the one?

Joel, nobody is at home here. The house is dark. This blog is dead. A profound example of the disgrace that Colorado Football fans bring to the sport. Loud and obnoxious and violent and comically arrogant when their team is up (a rare circumstance indeed by anyone's standards), and fair-weather, head in the sand, can't even maintain their blog cowards when the Colorado Buffaloes are in the familiar state they find themselves currently.
Remember all of the Dan Hawk is the messiah proclamations, chest-thumping, beer can throwing, tire-slashing fervor of just a few years ago? All gone. Hmmm…
You would think that running off to the Pac-10 (albeit with tail between their legs) would generate some glimmer of hope, positive speculation, or other such support that the average fan of almost any other team in the country would muster about better days and possibilities. But no. Stuck with a program in complete shambles, too broke to buy out one of the (if not The) worst coaches in the game, and forced to acknowledge that their delusional one sided 'rivalry' that was never a rivalry with Nebraska (if I thought there was anyone reading this I'd post any or all of the relevant stats – that is every stat in every dimension of college football) was indeed a pipe dream.
We bid you farewell losers. Thanks for staining the reputation of every team in the conference. We're all sad that we won't get to continue to pound you into the dirt every year. But with Hawk at the helm, I'm sure you'll just light up the bottom feeders of the Pac-10 (or at least inflict some bruises on the opponents fans by throwing cups, picking fights, and slashing tires)…
