A Needed Improvement

Sorry for the lack of roundtables lately, but there hasn’t been a new one for 2 weeks now and I have decided to turn my attention to another important issue, tomorrows game. I completely agree with what Marc was saying, and think he has the best plan going into tomorrow night. We’re going to have lots of trouble defending the explosiveness of their offense, but I believe that Hawkins and Co will have some sort of plan that resembles Marc’s. There is however one area we better improve on from last week that will give the team a significant boost….
Student turnout. The student body last week was a COMPLETE EMBARRASMENT. Students, I’m calling you out to have a better turnout this week. The team feeds off the crowd’s energy, which is why it is typically an advantage to play at home. But when there is no energy from the crowd, there isn’t any energy from the team. That was the case last weekend against ISU.
On campus I hear people complaining about a lack of productivity from our team, yet they fail to fill 75% of the student section at best. If you are going to complain about the team and not show up a game because it’s too early or you had other plans, then forget about calling yourself a fan. I’m sick of the students showing up late to the games and being poor supporters of the team. It’s time that changes. So for this one last home game, I’m calling on the students to be true fans and show up on time, be loud, and fire up the team. We are going to need it. It may be cold, but that is part of the fun and excitement of football. So show up and support your Buffaloes and I’ll see you all at the game… GO BUFFS!!

I’m with Linguini! Let’s all fill that student section for the last home game of the season. Even if it is just out of respect for the graduating seniors who deserve to play their last home game in front of a packed and loud student section. If it is going to be cold and that is your concern, just have a few extra swiggs of the good stuff that burns going down and you’ll be just fine. GO BUFFS!

Now laser pointers? Throwing trash, slashing tires, starting fights, hurling cups…
The Buffs have the most embarassing fan base in the Big 12 by far. Why can’t you just accept that your team sucks. Again.

AD should know not to schedule games before the traditional 130 CFB time with our team.

the students are just like the players…soft. i have been going to games for the last 20 years, mostly in the student section, and lately they are a bunch of whinny dulce gabbana wearing slobs, who know nothing about a commitment to a winning team. nobody on the buffs team has a goal of making it to the next level. They all cry for their mama! wimps

Here we go Buffettes! The day after Thanksgiving can’t come fast enough. I love it when the CU-NU game comes down to denying your pathetic team a bowl and propelling the Huskers to New Year’s Day. Please please please renew Coach Hawk’s contract ASAP!…

Well, aint that the truth. They are going to repay last years bowl snubbing of Nebraska in folds. Hawkins, if he is a man, should prepare to walk away from that contract renewal, if this happens again next year. And, at the very least, fire Helfrich, who has regressed like a crack addict. I knew he was wrong from the Montana State Game. How do you not slowly and methodically introduce a system, instead of making the players go cold turkey into it? Huh, its called bad coaching and management skills….hey, its the same style on wall st!
