Summer is here! Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!!!

We have entered into the lazy days of summer. Long warm days filled with nothing on TV to watch except ESPN Classic games of the BUFFS. I was wondering what kind of season would the Buffs have? ESPN has five Big 12 teams in the top 25 this year! Surprisingly though the Buffs are not one of them. What do you think the Buffs final ranking will be and what will their record be?
I predict 10 – 2 with a final ranking of 17 in the Coaches and AP!!
Extra credit question: Will Rick Neuheisel bet on his new team UCLA? Will UCLA go to a bowl?
I predict Yes and NO.

Wooohooo…another post.
We need to get more of this. There plenty of Buff’s news in the press (some not so go, i.e. arrests in the Springs).
9-3…Mizzou wins the North. Final ranking #22
Can’t wait to see what Mr. Scott brings to the field (praying we don’t see another Marcus Houston bust). O-line should be on the up and up. Hopefully Cody’s grown 5 inches. I’m ready to see the Buffs back in the think of things.

I am quite glad we are not ranked…we have done nothing on the field to earn a ranking and it seems like the years we find ourselves in the top 25 preseason we stumble out of the gates and the rest of the season. This gives the players something more to play for.
I am very excited to see many of our recruits on campus already along with the strong turn out at the player led summer practices.
I see an 8-4 regular season with a victory over WVU as our best of the season. We go to a bowl game and win to finish 9-4 overall.

well i am sure i speak for everyone when i say i am stoked for the season to get rolling! as far as a prediction i would love to say we are going to be 8-4 or even 7-5 however with that schedule and young defense i could see more of a 6-6 record and actually winning a lower tier bowl game like the insight bowl. but that is worst case. however i believe that 2009 is our year!
