The Spring game is on and it’s going to be big this year. We should all show up in droves on April 19th to support the team. Coach Mac has thrown the gauntlet down. We are trying to have the most spectators ever for a spring game at CU. The goal is 50,000 in attendance. Sounds like a great time to me.
The position battles should be out in full force. Ballenger, Nelson and Hawkins going toe to toe. Look for them to connect with Smith and Simas up and down the field. You’ll get to see Kai Maiava in his new fullback / tight end role. Lynn Katoa will give us a preview of just what we should expect from our latest recruiting class. Sipili should be back too. Come see Nate Solder block two maybe even three guys at once in his new o-line role. With him next to Sione Tau we may actually be able to go with just two down lineman. :)
