Delusionary folk up north

So this is what happens when you get stuck in a flat, boring, wasteland of a state for to long. Oh, and all of your sports teams suck:). When ones delusions of grandeur are shattered, their thoughts can get quite ugly.

Whoa, actually that’s kinda funny. We could counter their response by making up a map of our own – annexing Nebraska, but why ugly up our state?

No kidding. Maybe build a wall?

I say we annex Nebraska, but then give it to South Dakota. If they wanted, they could change the name to South South Dakota.

What about our 2 Basketball Teams? I don’t think we could take the best players from both teams and have a winner. Why must they suck so hard in hoops?

Talk to me after we kick CU’s butt in baseball.
Wait – CU doesn’t participate on the diamond.
Lame Losers!

Baseball? oh, jeez. Who cares about baseball? I go to tons of MLB games a year, only to get drunk and have something to do. Baseball sucks. Just like Nebraska.

But answer me this…HOW DOES K-STATE HAVE A BETTER BASKETBALL PROGRAM THAN CU? Thanks Bohn.

There is absolutely no way you can blame Bohn for the basketball program. With the exception of the couple of years that Billups was here, our basketball team has been consistently terrible. You can blame Patton and Tharp, but Bohn hasn’t been in the position long enough to shoulder that blame. Bzdelik was a great hire, I think he’ll do a lot towards turning the program around. To answer your question, KSU is good because Bob Huggins was there for a year and recruited some great players before skipping town. We’ll see if they can keep it up.

I’ve lived in Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado. Let’s just say that for all around living, Colorado doesn’t rate favorably. Its mountains are a plus, its people are a negative. A big negative. It’s your worst tourism draw–your people.
Oh, and who doesn’t have a better basketball program than CU? As the above poster said, with the exception of Billups, you’ve had nothing.
And to the baseball hater, I understand your position. CU has no baseball, so you figure college baseball isn’t worth the time–wrong. Much more excitement than MLB that you sort of enjoy. The kids run instead of walk, for one thing. MLB is nearly a waste of time, I agree on that point.
