I’m running a couple of days behind this week. I didn’t even realize until yesterday that I didn’t submit a blogpoll for the week. Since no one cares about the bottom 20 of that poll, my top 5 would have been LSU, Oregon, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. Obviously with the Oregon loss last night, that will change next week.
On to the pick ‘em. We only have four games this week following a terrible week for yours truly last week:
@Baylor (+15) Oklahoma State – Frankly, who cares at all about this game? The Cowboys have been hot and cold and the Bears stink. I’ll take OSU to win big.
Iowa State (+26) @Kansas – The Jayhawks better watch out as this one has trap written all over it. KU could be looking ahead to the game against Mizzou and the Cyclones have turned into a salty little team. If this was in Ames, I’d take ISU to win. Since it’s in Lawrence I think KU squeaks it out.
@Kansas State (+7) Missouri – Trap game #2. Manhattan is always a tough place to play, but the Wildcats have to be hurting after the beating by Nebraska last week and the Tigers are doing everything they can to avoid the traditional November swoon. Here’s hoping that Mizzou and KU take care of business this week and set up a huge matchup for next week. I’ll take the Tigers in this one.
Oklahoma (-8.5) @Texas Tech – Texas Tech has completely folded and the Sooners aren’t going to let the Raiders spoil their quest for a National Championship. I’ll take OU big.
