Thursday Buff-Bits

Looks like I have to eat a lot of crow this week after being so sure that CU was going to beat ISU… Still, the gall to rank them above us is rather humiliating. So way to go CloneChronciles… Now NEVER do that again!
Anyways,
Buff-Bit #1: CU is now ranked #58 by SI.com…. When you get down that low, its basically throwing darts, but at least we are not Colorado State (112… OUCH)… Oh, and Nebraska? 62:). Small steps people, small steps.
Buff Bit #2: Hawk says “My bad” about the loss to ISU. I agree and disagree with him, but it is nice to have a coach with some integrity.
Buff Bit #3: Mr. Ganz of Nebraska seems to be everything that Sam Keller should have been and could not be. Lucky for the Buffs he comes in overconfident! As mentioned earlier, he will not be facing a full strength Buffs secondary with Wheatley having a broken bone in his foot. Let us hope he recovers in time!
Buff Bit #4:CU will be showing off the next Ralphie as well as the new practice bubble to the public for the first time this weekend. There is no timetable to replace Ralphie IV, but everyone buy tickets to the Nebraska game just in case. I think it would be fitting if the same Ralphie that saw 62-36 would get to send off Callahan into the hinterlands. For those of you counting, that would be the second Nebraska coach that RalphieIV has seen off
Buff-Bit #5: With both Nebraska and CU sitting at 5 wins, this next game has become a “bowl playoff”. Nebraska is currently liking their chances and even talking about how much ESPN would like them to win. I do hope that the one game I do get to see in person this season is not a downer. This team has fought hard in most of their games, and with a bye week to rest, I fully expect them to rock NU.
Go Buffs!

c’mon buffies. was bold to rate the cyclones above us (ego aside). not too concerned if we go to a bowl game or not, just want a big win here. why do they put these games at 10am? its hard to start drinking so early in the morning.
NU sux.

Also remember this is the same Ralphie that refused to run past the goal line versus the huskers a few years back.
