Buffs.tv Blogpoll – Week 10
filed in Rankings on Nov.06, 2007
Below is the poll for this week. BC becomes about the 100th #2 team to lose this season, so LSU makes it’s way back into the top 2. I was going to bump Kansas over Oklahoma after putting up 76 on Nebraska, but then I remembered that Ball State managed 40 against the Huskers and the Sooners could probably score 100. The Jayhawk/Tiger matchup is looking better and better. Anyway, on Wednesday morning, you can see the compiled poll here.

Sorry, but Mizzou>Kansas>OU. Why? QB play. I think Daniels>Reesing>Bradford. Those guys are all gamers, but away from Manhattan and Norman, it sure seems like the two younger guys struggle compared to the supermen they are at home. Daniels is just perfect. I think the Heisman should come down to whoever wins the Mizzou/KU game and then wins the Big XII.
After the top 8 or so, this just gets insane. What mess parity makes of the poll system.

You could also say OU>Kansas>Mizzou. Why? Defense. There’s a ton of different ways to look at it.
I know it was in Norman, but OU beat Mizzou and therefore gets ranked ahead of them. Kansas gets the edge over Mizzou for being unbeaten (and don’t bring up the non-conference, Mizzou’s wasn’t that impressive either). This should all take care of itself as Mizzou and Kansas face each other on a neutral field in KC and the winner probably get OU in the Big XII Championship game. Should be fun to watch.

As long as the thinking is circular, I like it!
