All of the Big XII teams are in action this week, but not all of the editors are. BK is finally back from France and making picks, but we don’t have picks from Katfish this week. Once again, we had a bit of a rough week last week as the games are getting hard to analyze in this crazy football season. The games:
@Baylor (+21) Texas Tech – After getting embarrassed by two North teams, the Red Raiders look to bounce back against Baylor. You couldn’t ask for a better opponent to get your groove back against. Tech could score 70 in this one.
@Colorado (+3.5) Missouri – The Buffs have some confidence coming off of the upset of Texas Tech in Lubbock last week, but are matching up with a Missouri team that may be the class of the Big XII North. The Tigers have always had trouble in Boulder and we have crossed into the month of November, which has bad news for Mizzou in recent years. However, this team looks to be better than any other Missouri team in recent memory and they have weapons all over the field. The Buff defense will have to be huge and the offense will need to score a bunch to keep up. I think the Buffs win in a shootout.
@Iowa State (+14) Kansas State – The Cyclones have been playing tough recently, but still don’t have enough for the Wildcats. Iowa State has the potential to keep it close, but I think K-State covers.
@Kansas (-18.5) Nebraska – The Huskers were 21 point dogs to Texas last week and are 18.5 point dogs to the Jayhawks this week. I’m not sure there’s ever been a two-week stretch where Nebraska has been such big underdogs. While the Huskers were able to hang with the Longhorns last week, Kansas will be looking for blood and be willing to run it up. Kansas wins big.
@Oklahoma (-21) Texas A&M – The Aggies are struggling and a trip to Norman is not the cure. I look for the Sooners to run away with this one.
@Oklahoma State (+3) Texas – The Cowboys are getting three points at home against a Longhorn team that can’t decide if it’s good or not. I haven’t been impressed with Texas this year and I’m taking OSU to pull the upset in Stillwater.
