Buffs.tv Blogpoll – Week 9
filed in Rankings on Oct.30, 2007 by Gampp
This is getting ridiculous. The Top 10 remains mostly the same (except for the Florida drop), but after that, it’s a war of attrition. Not that the second 15 really matter much, but how are you supposed to compare the merits of a 6-3 Auburn team with a 7-2 Texas team who barely beat Nebraska at home on Saturday. I’m half tempted to just randomly draw teams with a winning record and put them in the poll. Anyway, KU and Mizzou are setting themselves up for a Top 10 showdown in a few weeks as long as neither team stumbles (I’m looking in your direction Missouri). Comments, as always, are welcomed. On Wednesday morning, you can see the compiled poll here.

Mr Numb Existance, I can’t really believe that you have Oregon below, Oklahoma and Arizona State. I’d be willing to believe one or the other, but not both. Oregon beat up on USC and they deserve props for that just because it was USC.

I’m more impressed with Arizona State’s win over Cal than I am with Oregon over USC. USC has looked shaky all year and I don’t think that will be their last loss. I’m not sure about Oklahoma, but we’ll see who shakes out of the Oregon/ASU matchup on Saturday.

Agree with above. I really don’t agree with BC’s rank. Do you really think ASU, LSU, Oregon, or even Kansas would be so offensively challenged as to let a BC team obviously lacking playmakers other than Matt Ryan win the game? The guy can make plays, but against good teams the lack of talent around him is obvious…
