Gameday: KU at CU Open Thread

Lets hope for some Boulder magic boys, any thoughts? I think this is going to be a shootout early, with the Buffs running game and special teams being the difference late. (Eberhart is 2nd team all american at the mid-season point btw!)

It’s discouraging seeing our season being sacrificed for the sake of Cody Hawkins. I’m all for the guy getting experience if he shows improvement. The problem is he is not improving. I guess we’ll have to wait for next year to be competetive.

another game lost at the hands of our O-Line and sub par recieving core! hopefully a bowl game is still possible gotta get tech next week and dismantle ISU and the Fuskers i dont see us competing with Mizzou

There are a lot of positives going for us right now, but there are three things I took away from the Kansas game:
1) We don’t stretch the field by throwing deep. This is leaving too much congestion in the middle of the field and has contributed to Cody’s interceptions.
2) We simply cannot catch the ball. How many dropped passes did we end up with? Too many. ‘Nuff said on that point.
3) Daniel Sanders is a huge liability at center. We saw it on the final ‘drive’ we had when we put the snap on the ground on two consecutive plays, and we’ve seen it all year from him (it killed us against Florida State too).
