Buffs.tv Blogpoll – Week 7
filed in Rankings on Oct.15, 2007
Wow, another tough week for ranking the teams as the Top 10 keeps getting beat. I’m not totally sold on the Buckeyes (even though they are my second love), but I can’t fully buy into South Florida either. These rankings aren’t set in stone until Wednesday morning, so comments are encouraged and I may change them around if you make a good case. On Wednesday morning, you can see the compiled poll here.

do you guys honestly believe that s. FL is better than LSU, UF, Cal, and OU? I do agree with the turmoil of college fb this year it is hard to rank teams, but the big east is weak, regardless of te fact they are undefeated. I agree with your sentiments on ohio state. props on the ratings tho, its a challenge this year. KU goes down on sat, overrated as well.

That’s the whole problem, I don’t know if South Florida is better than those other teams. However, if I ranked them below the others, someone else might claim that an undefeated team in a BCS conference should be ranked above the one-loss teams (same claims could be made for Kansas if their non-conference schedule wasn’t so embarrassing). USF beat Auburn who beat Florida, so I don’t know how you play that one out. Luckily, there are still a lot of games to be played and I think this will sort of work itself out for the most part before the bowl season.

Look at Mandel’s reasons why USF is #1…. Their schedule is ranked #7 in the nation… OSU is not even TOP FIFTY, while BC is not even Top SIXTY

Great, How excited do you think I am about a possible South Florida/Boston College championship game? Especially when I am going to New Orleans for the BCS Championship. Its like going a Arizona Cardinal/Cleveland Browns Superbowl. CRAP
