I think our depth is telling. Our guys are tired each and evrey time cause the young guys aren’t ready yet and the old guys have to play to much. Lets hope that gets better as the season goes on or our teams will really suffer in the second half of the season and the second half of games. Hints that Ryan Miller and other young Olinemen are ready marks a good sign.
On the defensive side of the ball, no word other then Sipili coming back. Lets hope they grow up quick!

Yea what happened with the blitz in the second half? I noticed that too at the game. We were in his face most of the first half, then Zippo. The coaching staff are THE WORST HALFTIME ADJUSTERS IN THE COLLEGE GAME. Not once have they come out and played better. At least Coach Mac could figure out a new direction at half. Cannot imagine what snoozer speech they gave at ASU…”After our asskicking we are going to Baskin Robbins for banana splits!”

I dunno. I would say the fact that hawkins basically got half his career losses last year means that quite a few coaches are much worse then one and 0 against him. I see the buffs playing it close till the end. If our D can stay fresh enough so that the coaches don’t go into that soft zone coverage like they did after the first quarter of the ASU game, we could really just harry the hell out of weatherford. When our D was blitzing, Rudy (he did eventually beat the hell out of us) Carpenter was really making bad decisions and getting wrecked. Once that ended, so did our D’s chance as our coverage isn’t good enough against top flight WR’s….
We need our D in this one to give our O a chance to wear down the FSU defense in the altitude. The spread (+4) from vegas definitely means that other people think it will be a close one. Let’s hope the ball bounces our way (I am thinking of that almost pick on Cody at the end of the game against CSU on the goalline…)

Callahan is 1-0 against Hawkins. But that really doesn’t say much, Most Coaches are 1-0 against Hawkins, aren’t they?? FSU is simply a higher class team than CU. Better coaches, better players, better facilities and better fans. If a snowball has a chance in hell then I guess CU has a chance. My advice is get very drunk and talk about how the academics are better at CU, football is not going to be nice…

As if Callahan went to Harvard. I saw that WF game. And talk about lucky? and I don’t mean Marlon. Sure a Win is a Win. But your false belief is gonna disturb your pathetic world. NU stinks, maybe not as bad the Buffs. What will you say when CU beats FSU, and NU gets blasted by USC?
The only thing a true sportsfan could say “2 and 1 is 2 and 1″ Our 2 and 1 would be just as good as yours. Just wait til we get you off those farm subsidies.
