Damn, don’t you guys have something better to do than troll on a buffs site? ASU looked very good at times. CU definitely gave them that game back after ASU tried their best to make it a blowout for CU early. oh well, young team. Still growing. Lets see hwo they progress eh?

Clearly someone has been drinking a little too much fruitcake koolaid… to watch you guys be so excited about the way the buffs are playing and recruiting under chicken hawk is highly highly entertaining. when you start being satisfied or even happy with complete mediocrity in literally every level and aspect of the program, something is wrong… “me thinky” the buffs are an unbelievable joke (again)…

Is it me or did it look like Sumler was afraid to get hit? Every time he touched the ball, it was if he needed to stop and think about which leg went first. I’m disappointed in the offensive output, but the defense did look pretty good especially considering the number of walk-ons.
Well, just as the Buffs seemed to have trouble with the heat, I’m betting FSU will have trouble with the altitude. That may end up being our twelfth man next week. Go Buffs!

I’m in Tempe for the game. From what I hear, the stadium doesn’t sell out so the atmosphere won’t be close to Mile High.
Our offense is MUCH improved over last year. Our D is weak in the secondary but our Dline is finally getting some pressure (at least in the 2nd half) and our Linebackers are, as typical of a CU team, our bread and butter.
The heat could shock the Buffs but being a night game, it should be 95-100. Not a big issue. I’m expecting a close game. We need to score early to set the tone and make long drives to keep that proficient SunDevil offense off the field.
Buffs 38 , Devils 35.
Go BUFFS!!!!

I can’t believe your claiming Sun Devil Stadium is a hard place to play to the point that its special. It has the heat, that is about it. Storied place? Hardly. And we know how vulnerable overconfident home teams can be (see Michigan). We seemed to do just fine at Georgia last year, and don’t even try and tell me that is an easier place to play.

Funny, final score seemed to be 31 to 28 in OT. And if CSU only wins 5 games this year, I will eat my left shoe. Write it down.

okay, well when we drop 40+ we’ll see exactly why you should be ignored. You guys barely beat a team who won’t win 5 games this year in a piss poor conference. I’m not saying that Erickson was the only reason behind Johnson, but you can’t say that his schemes didn’t help exploit Johnson’s talent. Our Defense obviously hasn’t been tested this year being that we’ve played one game, but you guys gave up 30+ to CSU. Rudy is going to have his way with your secondary like he did last year when he was playing with a broken hand. Add that to Torain running all over your under recruited front seven and yall are seriously screwed. And when you guys play in Mile High half or more of the fans are yours, our stadium is bigger, sold out, and will almost all ASU fans. lets see if daddies little princess can throw to bad wideouts against athletic defenders. I’m not saying that ASU is really all that great either, but claiming that your going to win on the road against us would be like ASU claiming that we would win against LSU in death valley… not going to happen.

ASU may have a better team, but I guarantee you that Mile High last week was a far tougher environment to play in for the team’s freshmen. Sun Devil Stadium ain’t the big house. But then, I guess the big house aint the big house either….

Yes. Dennis Erickson is a god. He “created” the perfect physical WR prototype in Chad Jackson. Chad Jackson had nothing to with it at all…. what a silly guy!
Also, to say that Sun Devil Stadium is some scary place is rather strange. I bet its not even in the top 25 hardest places to play outside of temperature. Cody has been to a few football games in his time (including seveeral trips between the hedges) so I don’t think your shiny stadium is going to impress him.
As to your offense… well, can’t say anything bad about that. No one thinks the buffs can hold them to 21 points again like last year. We will see eh?
Your Defense frankly hasn’t been tested yet. You played a lights out performance against a non BCS team. Just sayin ASU better have their A game out again, cause the buffs are no longer a team to ignore. We nearly upset Georgia last year with no O. Watch out.

You got to be joking… While CU did barely squeak by CSU your going to get crushed in Tempe. Sun Devil Stadium provides an atmosphere that Cody Hawkins has never seen before… there will be more Sun Devil fans there then there were TOTAL fans for the showdown. Add that to a much improved defensive team and an offense that can run the ball on teams like CAL, USC, and UCLA (you know REAL football teams) your so called linebackers aren’t going to stand a chance. Wheatley might be a decent corner but remember, this is an Erickson offense, he knows how to throw the football and knows how to make receivers into monsters (Chad Johnson anybody)

I love YAC! The Buffs secondary really has to prove the can stand up to Carpenter this week. Not only so that we have a chance of winning, but also to show up their former position coach Craig Bray. Both Walters and Wheatley are on record saying that they are very happy he is gone form the program, now they just need to show off their Mad Skillz
