Little Hawk has the Advntage…

If you read the latest Buff news you can’t help to read about Cody Hawkins and his advantage over Nelson as a starter. Seems we should have a discussion on the subject.
I can recall to last year’s scrimmage, watching Cody play and thinking he was the most poised and natural quaterback out on the field, (sorry B-Jax). Certainly, Little Hawk is the future and both him and Hawk will face extreme pressure especially when things go bad, which they will. A young quaterback will make mistakes. BUT…I believe Cody is a great future, hands down this offense will be much stronger than last year, and Cody will be the investment that we need to for a better season and a stronger future.
We will find out after tomorrow’s scrimmage what Helfrich’s decision will be.
Go Buffs!

I hope Nelson gets the nod for the opener. He has some experience and should be effective. If he falters then Cody can be the “hero” who everyone is calling for. If Cody gets the start and struggles than the “daddy’s boy” comments will rain down. Either one will be an improvement from last year – again with respect to B-Jax who will again be a huge asset to the offense…
If BSMC reads this refrain from commenting on the “superiority of the NU QB’s.”

I wouldn’t think of mentioning such difference as obvious as a stable of thoroughbreds vs. a cage with a couple of pigs…

The Daddy’s Boy comments will come no matter what Cody does. If he’s a tough kid, he’ll deal with it. Put the best player in.
BSMC, is this you?

Ya got me Duffman, that’s me alright. What you can’t tell from the picture is that the tat is actually on my huge c***, not far from the CU logo I have inked on my taint…
