don’t count on 6 wins this year, not enough talent to get it done. so sad, poor buffies.

A six win season is not only possible, but realistic. All of our tough games are at home, and we always get up for games at folsom. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Dan hawkins is a winner and has many under his belt, last year he was just setting up the nuclius of his coaching staff. The team has been busting their ass this summer training in the weightroom and cody has been holding drills 2 days a week, they are studying film, doing all the things winners do. The talent we have is scary with bernard, charles, and everyone on defense. 8 wins this year, get excited!

I couldn’t agree more. It sounds like Cody Hawkins has taken control of the summer practices and has really moved this squad forward over the summer. Of course that all still needs to be proven on the field.
I think 6 wins is a great goal entering this season. We need to get a few wins under our belt to keep building confidence before we expect more. Like it or not, last season was demoralizing to the fans, the players and the coaching staff.
