Unlikely Marc, by the end even the Buffs players will be bleeding RED!
November 24th, 2006 on 5:20 pm
offense-sucks
defense-give up
special teams-nonexistent
And this was your bowl game, but i guess you just can’t lay yourself on the line huh Bernard, pussy just keep running to the out of bounds line.
Great effort Buffs, you play so hard.

After all has been said and done, I wish the Buffs a stellar off season and better luck next year. When the Big 12 North season is done, we all need to suck it up and wish all of our conference teams well. For the good of all of us. It is kinda sad that the Buffs won’t play in a bowl, yet probably a good thing that they don’t get beat down for the 11th time in a single season.
I also want to retract my earlier post ripping on Ryno. We have had a gentleman’s agreement all year on today’s game. I have just been notified that Ryno couldn’t attend the game. I apologize and wish he and his family all of the best. Ryno if you’re out there how about we just reload our little wager for next year?
Farewell sweet Buffettes, until next year!

Hey RedNeck, F*** off! The Sal stuff is over the top. I’m sure you’re probably just a Buffs fan trying to paint a classles picture of the Huskers. I have been a Husker my whole life and have never met a redneck like you. I just came home from the game. I congratulated Buffs fans on a sincere effort, applauded the team off the field, and shook their hands all the way out of Memorial stadium. That’s what being a true Husker is all about!
November 24th, 2006 on 7:16 pm
BSMC,
Hell of a year. We’ll be back next year. Maybe 6-6, but back! OU is going to paste you.
Redneck, seriously, not funny. Not orginial. Not even believable. There are real people behind that story. Think, asshole.
November 24th, 2006 on 8:14 pm
Oh how sweet it is. There you go Buffs, an early Holiday present (no pun intended) … your 3rd 10 loss season in school history. Hope you like it!
November 24th, 2006 on 9:14 pm
Good effort today Buffs. Ignore *sses like Redneck, he is not a representative of the Husker Nation. You’ll be back.
November 25th, 2006 on 8:03 am
Yeah nice game, losers. All week before the game, you guys talk and talk and talk about how you’re going to surprise the Huskers and “hit them in the mouth” so they limp into KC. And all that talk about how your defense will shut down Nebraska. What a joke! Colorado Buffalos are the worst team in the Big 12. Such a ridiculous pathetic program deserves a 10 loss season.
Nebraska OWNS Colorado! Too bad they’re not worth much!
November 25th, 2006 on 8:57 am
WHO’S YOUR DADDY NOW?!?
November 25th, 2006 on 8:59 am
Appropriate that the Huskers hand the Buffs their worst loss of the season. Sucks to be a Buff! Hawk is a joke, and the Buffs are going nowhere next year either. Boulder Colorado is the new outhouse of college football!
November 25th, 2006 on 9:43 am
That has to be the worst officiating crew in college football. There were a dozen plays that were called bad against CU. It was just ridiculous, and it made NU win. If those calls were correct, NU wouldn’t have scored on the first drive and so on. I see why the Buffs starting losing the game in the 4th. Bernard threw a perfect pass over a defender on the sideline and they called it incomplete. Even NU fans that saw it on TV can’t deny that. Thats alright, next year is were the magic is going to happen for the Buffs, it gives Dan Hawkins that first year behind, and now he has good recruits coming for his system…
November 25th, 2006 on 10:10 am
FL Buff, are you serious? What crazy denial. The pass you are talking about was never in possession, it just bounced out before it was ever under control. You’re an idiot if you really believe that was a bad call, that or you have some serious vision problems. No one disputes that, even the CU staff. What the other “11″ calls you are talking about, I’m not sure. Face, it dude, the Buffs suck. Really bad. The got handed their worst loss all season (and as we all know there have been plenty). At least be a man and face up to the fact you got blown out fair and square.
Nebraska OWNS CU…
Nebraska
November 25th, 2006 on 11:00 am
The refs sucked. Big time. Terrible calls, mostly against CU. I’m pretty sure they called pass interference on a run play. But CU still wouldn’t have won. Season’s over. On to next year.
November 25th, 2006 on 11:09 am
Wow, what a bunch of whiners. Now it’s the refs fault? What a joke. Talk about sore losers. The worst play of the game was a malicious late hit on Zac Taylor but there is no sense crying over spilt milk. It’s amazing how the biggest losers always blame someone else. Thank God you pathetic Buffs aren’t going to a bowl game just to represent the conference poorly yet again for the zillionth time. CU is THE embarassment of the Big 12.
November 25th, 2006 on 11:43 am
Ok you want to hear the bad calls…? How about those two pass interference calls on third and long. The obvious NON face mask call on zac taylor when he was sacked, it showed the close up and no where near a face mask. The interference calls when abraham put up his hands and Taylor couldn’t even catch it, and side judge was like gotta call that one. I don’t know if any of you saw this but, one of the refs started clapping when NU got a first down and sh*t. Whats with that…It was B/S and theres nothing we can do about it. I just know they were assisted by the refs to get the game out of reach for the Buffs. They were playing their asses off for 3 quarters, and I feel bad for them when all of that crap started to happen. Don’t sit there and say we played horrible and all this garbage, we had that game going our way until…
November 25th, 2006 on 12:03 pm
I’m with you on the bad officiating, but the facemask call was legit. He had clearly grasped the edge of the helmet, which is a no-no.
November 25th, 2006 on 4:41 pm
First it was “a dozen” missed calls, now it’s 3, you deny the facemask when it is clear and obvious, anyone can see it. I’m sure you also deny the malicious late hit on Taylor. Funny though I don’t see or hear anyone from the CU program that was at the game complaining about any of the officiating. Sounds like a another delusional Buffs fan. Of course the Buffs got outplayed, big time, they never had a lead in the game, not once. Typical crybaby Buffs bull****. Don’t take any responsibility for anything and always blame others. What a joke. There is a reason your team is 2-10, the embarassment of the Big 12, and of course NOT going bowling. It’s because you suck. Plain and simple.
November 25th, 2006 on 6:48 pm
Hey Florida boy, you’re an idiot. I just watched the entire game again on TiVo. All of those pass interference calls were totally legit. As was the facemask. Do you even know the game? You sound like a very biased armchair quarterback who has never played a game in his life. At least admit that your team got dominated by Nebraska, yet again. You only embarass your program even more by blaming the refs.

Here an excellent Christmas shopping idea for you Buffs. You might as well buy early since you don’t have to worry about getting ready for any bowls or post-season play…

Ryno, are you back yet? Will you be sending me my beer or do I have to wait a whole year for double or nothing?
November 26th, 2006 on 7:56 pm
fl buff u must be on something cuz from your past posts i think u r smokin something strong or illegal or both. in the nebraska game your qb didnt do sh!t he gets nervous in the pocket and collapses most of time in ne-cu games…..he is truely pathetic
November 26th, 2006 on 8:56 pm
it’s funny, if you look at the game’s photo gallery on huskers.com theres about five pictures of Adam Captain Crunch Carriker in Bernards face. Bam
November 27th, 2006 on 12:08 pm
Time to suck it up Buffs. We got outplayed by the better team this year. Hey, at least the season is over! I’m very optimistic about next year and just wish we didn’t have to wait so long.
November 27th, 2006 on 1:42 pm
Time to tip your hats off to Nebraska and wish them a victory over OU! This will be a great game for a great rivalry, and I know I’ll be wishing Nebraska wins the Big 12 title. Let’s hear it for the North! Go get ‘em Huskers. Heck of a game, it was good at the start, but once again, our beloved Hawk and our Beefaloes were outplayed, outhustled, outcoached and overmatched once again. Like our beloved Pres. Bush said – fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me! Not much more to say, except Callahan could have run the fumblrerooski and it would have worked against us. We simply had our heads up are arses again (kind of like the entire season). I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – Hawk is not the answer, but I know I’ll get numerous emails back telling me to give him time. I’m not impressed with his coaching schemes or strategies, and I don’t think they will pay off. Oh well, I guess we will see. Remember, there were plenty of buff fans rooting for Rico Patton too, and I guess after ten years of non-production, you get fired at CU. I guess its better than at big football schools like Miami and Alabama – mediocrity can buy you at least 5-6 years at CU.

Alabama gave Mike Shula 4 full years and he went 26-23 over that span. Even at the big football schools, you get four years of mediocrity to try to prove yourself. I have doubts about Hawkins as well, but it remains to be seen if he can learn from his mistakes this year. The recruiting looks promising and we’ll have a better feel for this staff after next season.
