Why don’t we just announce to the world that we have given up? Please, I can’t take anymore! UNCLE!

Like I said…Bring Barnett back, please!

Joel, we haven’t given up that’s the point….Under Barnett we’d be losing games by 60 points by now.

Oh, sorry, you’re right big Papa – we haven’t given up yet – we are just totally clueless and continue to get licked by freshman quarterbacks. Can’t say I disagree with you about Barnett – how have we managed not to have one decent athlete on this squad? I mean, this has to be the worst offense in Div. 1-A – how did this happen?

This happened becuase Slick Rick f’d everything up and Barnett wasn’t smart enough to fix it. Hawk will get the job done, but it will take some time. Next year will be better (how could it not be). 5 years from now, everyone will think Hawk is a genius.

Okay, I don’t think anyone has raised this before, but after I watched last night’s BSU game, you have to wonder – what was Hawkins thinking? He just left a legitimate contender to come here? Besides money, what do you think motivated him to board a sinking ship?

I think all the Zin crap got old for BSU and Hawkins more or less admitted he was getting stale. The players were ready for Peterson to take the helm, Hawk was spending to much time kissing up to ESPN and doing lots of TV commercials. His 2005 team lost the fire of past and present Boise teams. Hawks another Elmer Gantry and many will buy in for a few years but not for ever. Hawk took over a good program started by Huston Nutt and Dirk Koeter. GOOD LUCK BUFFS!!

FINALLY! An objective comment by someone on this website! Blue46, where have you been all season? Thanks for your insight, now that makes sense. His optimism has already hooked many fans in this state, but I still remember Neuheisel pumping us up, and look where that got us! I’m not falling for it this time – I don’t think Hawk is all that he is cracked up to be. You can’t tell me that he’s that great of a coach when he inherits a Big 12 team and can only post one win, while his old team is kicking ass and is making plans for a BCS bowl game. You have to ask why – this isn’t the first time I’ve heard that Coach Peterson was the real man behind the success. I guess we’ll see, but now this state is full of believers.
