First half thoughts….Every drive we get started stalls when we pass the 50. And it’s not as if our D is playing poorly but the Tigers are executing nearly perfect on offense. It’s a battle but CU will have to avoid any more mistakes to keep it tight.
Upsides: We always have Mason Crosby. At least Jackson has apparently learned to throw it away rather than take a sack or turn it over.
Downsides: The option. Everytime we take Charles out of the game. Our punter is on scholarship.

Let me start by saying that I typically bash the Buffs. (not an exclusive group these days) However, while the Buffs are down at the half I have to say they are getting better. The big hurdle for them is not playing well, but rather learning how to win. That sounds simplistic but it isn’t. After losing 8 straight it is going to take these kids a little time to learn how to eliminate mistakes that cost wins (i.e. fumbles by the punter) and how to make plays that get you the win.
Buff fans, you will win sometime this year…in fact you may win as many as 4 games. (forget about beating the Huskers though…not going to happen…and I’m not a Huskers fan, just calling it like I see it)
Amazing stat: CU’s eight game losing streak is the third longest in the country behind football powers Duke and Temple…perhaps this means CU fans can expect big things from the basketball team. ****stat is courtesy of GameDay

The Buffs are so so bad. Wow. 0-5. What a joke. CU is easily the worst team of the conference. How embarassing. As if it’s not bad enough to have the most disgraceful fans, coaches, and player behavior in the game. Now you have the equivalent amount of talent. That is … NONE.
0-5 Buffahoes, 0-5. You may as well forfeit the rest of the season!

The Buffs bite it again! Wow I can’t remember any Big 12 team other than Baylor going 0-5 in a long, long time. Looks like Hawk is more of a tweetie bird than a bird of prey!

Ralphie is gay. I distinctly saw a bunch of white sticky stuff in his fur. I think Hawk had his way with him. Just goes to prove that the 0-5 Buffs do indeed blow!

Where are the Buffs fans tonight? Silence from the LOSERS!

Why and the hack do we keep taking Dusty and Hugh out? The way the coaches are behaving remains me of high school. Pulling players in and out, in and out. This is college in the Big 12 at that. Grow up gentlemen! Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz let the players that are the best stay in so they can consistently settle into the game. Also, stop beating up the players on Sunday and/or during season in practice. T Wheatley was able to rest after surgery and look at him now. R&R is good to heal, at least Barnett knew that. The defense looked beat up today and a week before the first game you beat the smack out of them and it showed. The word on the street is the trainer had not had so many guys hurt on the team before that. Hardhead Hawk, keep doing it and the whole team will continue to be whipped by Saturday. This is the Big 12, speed and strength is much more a factor then the Boise conference teams. What coach hits the starting quarterback and back? Adrian was blue shirted and allowed to sit out when injured without losing his spot.
I see ADD or ADHD head coach behaviors. Also, inconsistent play calling based on player talents which causes a lack of confidence in players when they are doing pretty well. Have you ever heard of getting in a zone? We can not even talk about the quarterback selection. Let’s not go there. I think the NCAA should impose nepotism laws for coaches that way we can be assured there are no conflicts on selections by default, if not Jackson then who…..hummm. Perhaps Brian White would still be with us and deliver. Barnett may have had his problems like being too loyal to Watson, but at least he won games. Hawk, please speak to Nokia or Sony in Japan and find out how to embellish on what has worked previously and not sound ignorant in the press. Now your previous record is looking pretty stupid, if you believe that then keep talking. Yeah, the me myself and I approach to this team might just be a problem too. Who are the players you are loyal too.
On a final note, you’ve got talent plzz keep them on the field. Oh yeah, you might want to put their historical trophies back in the case so your buffs can show more pride. The boys are not criminals or in the Army. Striping them down because you are the new man in town has not helped you win. Did you ever think there might be another approach? Talk to Stoops who took over after Barry at OU. My god!
Bohn , so you think you made the right choice? If we do not win soon you will eat your words. Also, forget the TV spot efforts who wants to play or see a 0-5 team, hopefully not a 0-8.
Wake up!! I thinks a serious conference between men is in order. The money is big and so should be the results. A session is too long to wait after the last two years of press mess.
Help stop the bleeding. There is talent on this team among the players, use them every game consistently to win. We are in the Big 12. This show and tell stuff because the new crew does know the players has to end. Our good guys achieved previous records because they are good. Let’s the knew staff review all the film for the past two year…dah.

0-5
That’s no jive!
Please Mr. Hawk keep it alive!
It sucks to be a Colorado Buff!
Life this is year is oh so rough!
Our fans are scum.
Our coach is a bum.
It’s only week 6 and I’m already numb.
Baylor is the one team we might beat.
Even 1-5 would be such a treat.
The rest of the season, well there’s no way.
We’ll never keep the Huskers quite at bay.
Maybe next year we’ll start to rock?
After we’re done sucking all this ****!

All you naysayer’s should go back to your crappy little jobs, crappy little cube, your little debbie cream pies and no tread-mill runnin’, lazy boy reclinin’, love handle stuck in the airplane seat, wet brain lives, and support the team, coaches and staff.
Support is hard to find these days…but know that there are many more that support you than what this message board reflects.
Go Hawk, Go BJ, Go Buffs.
The Buffs will rise again…soon.
