Third Week Buffs.tv Top-25 Poll
filed in Rankings on Sep.18, 2006 by Gampp
Our third poll has been submitted for this year’s BlogPoll. With their uninspired performance, the Bugeaters drop out of the poll, which I’m sure I’ll hear about in the comments. Ohio State holds on to the top spot, while Michigan makes a big jump up after beating up on Notre Dame. I didn’t punish LSU for a close loss to a higher ranked team, as that is the expected outcome. Oklahoma also stays above Oregon due to the Pac-10 refs stealing the game for the Ducks. Finally, I’m giving Rutgers some love for their 3-0 start and the fact that they haven’t even sniffed the Top-25 in forever.

You guys are killing me!! You think Rutgers could beat NU? Surely you didn’t drop them any lower than #26. Your bias has clouded your thinking.

I pointed out that I voted for Rutgers strictly becuase they deserve a little love. I’m sure it will be a one-week thing.
It never ceases to amaze me that Husker fans get worked up over our poll. Last I checked, this is a Buffs site and there’s a chance that we might be a bit biased for and against some teams (or a lot biased when it comes to CU and NU). Don’t like it? Get your own website.

Poor poor Gampp, dumb as a rock while the Buffs continue to sink like one. I can’t wait to see your winless Buffs get blown out by our “unranked” Huskers! Go Big Red!

To BSMC:
Wouldn’t you rather beat a 7-4 Buffs team?

Excellent point, Ryan. It would be much better to destroy a mediocre CU like last year rather than a completely impotent CU like this year. Unfortunately 7-4 for the Buffs this year is about as likely as a Buffs fan showing good sportsmanship. Not gonna happen…
