Cody will be featured on a new ESPNU reality show “Summer House”. Yep, it’s come to that. Colorado’s new potential star quaterback is being thrown in to a house with five other incoming college freshman. Jarred Fayson, a high school quarterback who will play receiver at Florida; London Crawford, a receiver who will join prized recruit Mitch Mustain at Arkansas; Taylor Potts, a quarterback and Texas native who will attend Texas Tech; Terrence Austin, a receiver from Long Beach Polytechnic High School who will play for former Buffalo Karl Dorrell at UCLA and Cart Kelly, a receiver who scored 1300 on the SAT, who will play at Princeton. You can watch 7:30 on Tuesdays on ESPNU. Most likely you don’t get ESPNU, so we will scour YouTube for hilites.
When Jeremy Bloom did his MTV gig it was one thing. He wasn’t even playing for the Buffs at the time. But there already is a lot of hype around Cody. He is the son of the head coach. I’m not sure reallity TV will do anything to mitigate that hype. And after the last five years at CU, I’m not sure all publicity is good publicity
