Barnett should be fired. Along with ALL of the assistant coaches. Also there should be a serious house cleaning among the players. Start taking away scholarships and re-evaluate team leadership at every level. Right now the Buffs are the laughing stock of the nation. It is past time for a major major course correction.

I have switched from the Free Barnett shirt of a year ago to the Fire Barnett shirt today. Plain and simple it is just time to make a change. We have “cleaned house” in every other aspect of the university. Why not the head football coach? I have one name every one should support. Butch Davis! He is the best coach out there and with no other big name schools looking for a coach maybe he would consider CU. He is the reason Miami became so dominate again. Pat Hill is a great coach but he wants to make Fresno a big name like Beamer did with Va Tech and so he will not leave. Someone please start BohnHireButchDavis.com!

i heard on radio KOA that CU Pres Brown is looking into allegations that Barnett tiped off his players as to when random drug tests were coming. sounds like CU is trying to fire him and send him away without paying him the 1.8 million

more allegations out today too (espn.com. Barnett’s got to go. I like the the thought of Mike Price but it won’t happen considering his past and ours. I can see those headlines now….

I think the fact that CU is holding on to their basketball coach, who happens to be black, is a non-issue. The expectation levels of the two programs are far different, and thus the different judging criteria.
The university has got to make football a priority, or we’ll never escape .500 football in the Big 12. Heck, Iowa State is building indoor practice facilities, etc.! We have got to wake up and make some heavy commitments.
Barnett, and the whole staff, need to go. I’m telling you, Mike Price is the guy who really could turn things around.

If we get rid of Coach Barnett who at least has a winning record, then why are we holding on the the basketball coach Patton, who can’t beat anyone?
Is it cause of race? Talk around my neck of the words is that cause he is a black coach and we need to have a balance of coaches. Well I would rather have a winner than a quota

Well Gary needs to go and he needs to take Shawn Watson with him. I hope they like his play calling where ever he ends up. Mike Price is a hell of a choice. Hope they get rid of them both before the bowl game maybe we will have a chance. Some say it wasn’t Gary’s fault I say lets look at the facts. I just have one question? Did these people watch the same unprepared team as I did the last three game? What was the combined score in those games? I will wait to buy my bowl tickets till I see if Gary and Shawn are still on the roster.

Please say it’s true… Barnett has got to go. I will agree with Ryno that the University has got to step up to the plate and make football a priority by investing in the facilities, but we need a coach who will inspire the boosters and alumni before anything will begin to happen.
