The No. 2 Texas Longhorns defeated the Buffaloes 42-17 in a convincing way last Saturday. Texas remains undefeated and looks like a good bet to make an appearance in the national title game in January.
Texas QB Vince Young had his way with the Buffs defense, rushing for 3 touchdowns and passing for 2 more.
It’s become apparent that the Buffs are a medicore team this year. The two ranked teams that the Buffs have played (Miami and Texas) both proved that Colorado doesn’t deserve a top 20 ranking.
On a lighter note, the Big XII north continues to suck as well, so the Buffs are still tied for the lead in the north rankings with Nebraska and Missouri. If the Buffs win the rest of their games, they will earn a spot in the Big XII north title game (likely against Texas or Texas Tech), where they will have a chance for redemption.
