Silver and Gold host Mean Green

This week, the Buffs host the Mean Green of the University of North Texas. North Texas enters this game 0-2 on the season, with losses to Texas and Florida Atlantic. The Mean Green are in the midst of a 6 game non-conference losing streak. This is the first meeting between North Texas and Colorado. The Buffs comes into this game 2-0 with narrow wins against Colorado State and Washington State.
Since moving to Division I-A in 1995, the Mean Green are 3-15 against the members of the Big XII conference. Colorado is the second of three Big XII teams North Texas will play this season. They travel to Waco, TX next week to play Baylor, a team they beat last season.
Joel Klatt should to have the opportunity to pull things together with his passing game this week. North Texas gave up 280 passing yards to Florida Atlantic last week.

So it costs more($29.95) to watch the game on tv than it does to actually go to the game(tickets were $25)?! I’m not sure what this means. On a side note it is not likely that Patrick Cobbs, who led the nation in rushing last year, will be healthy enough to play on Saturday. Lets hope our pass rush comes to play again and we disrupt an inexperienced passing game.
