I have to admit this comes as a shocker to me, to you and everyone else in the state of Colorado. Jeremy Bloom may be allowed to play football this year. Stop the presses.
Bloom showed up to practice on Monday and ran his first drills as a Buff since the Nebraska game last year. Apparently, Bloom worked out a resolution with the NCAA. Nobody is commenting on specifics, but paperwork has exchanged hands with the NCAA regarding his latest waiver request and Bloom is expecting an official announcement as early as today from the NCAA..
This is just specualtion, but I can only imagine proof that fact Tim Dwight was allowed to receive NFL endorsements while running track at Iowa played a large part in this decision.
This could be just the first piece of good news for the Buffs as we head into 2004…
