Buffs Play All Four Quarters Against Iowa State
filed in Post-game on Nov.18, 2003 by Booty
For the first time this season, the Buffs offense and defense seemed to click throughout an entire game. CU defeated the Cyclones 44-10, in a game where the outcome was never in doubt. The Buffs improved to 5-6 which means with win next week against Nebraska, they will be bowl elidgible. While thats nothing to get too excited about, its at least something to strive for after a disappointing season overall.
The offense opened up a 37-0 lead by halftime, before putting in backup players. The defense also dominated, holding ISU to 18 total yards in the first half, creating 4 turnovers, and landing 3 sacks. The total domination by CU allowed 63 of 68 players on the Buffs roster to get a chance to play in the game. Thats good experience for the young guys returning next year.

This was a thorough domination. It felt good, and we got to play the entire bench. The only problem was it made it that much harder to swallow that horrible Baylor loss.
