Eric Neel from Page 2 on ESPN.com ran with Ralphie during the Washington State game. A great article that taps into the feelings that all CU fans have about our glorious mascot.

Great Story. I loved it. I wish i could be a handler. I have wanted to be one since the first buff game i ever remember going to. I was like 3 or so.
Man i love the buffs even when we stumble!

This is exactly what is right with the Buffs and college football in general. Neel got it right all the way. As Buffs fan I truly believe that Ralphie’s run is one of the most special things in sports, but every school has its dearly held traditions and in truth no one can say one is better than the other. These are what drive our passions to the frenzy that is sometimes seen on this site.
These traditions help to define us and are shared by all of us; the student athelets on the field, the students and alumni in the stands and all of the adoptive fans everywhere.

my buddy is a handler and he sneaks people in the games in the ralphie trailer. They almost ran over the girl in the chip outfit during the CSU game. If we lose to Kansas Barnett should pay the school back half his salary

I loved the article. At least we have one good thing going for us and that is Ralphie!!! I still love this team and this school but I have to agree with most of the things I have been reading on this board regarding the Baylor game. Major, major problems on defense (all season) – Gary really needs to take a look at what the problem is but I will keep the faith – GO BUFFS!!!!!!!!!

IS the season that bad that “the one good thing going on for us is Ralphie!!!” ??
WOW! get used to it Buff fans. You better teach that Cow with a WIG how to stop the pass if you want to win 2 more games this year .
I’ve heard it all now. I can’t take CU fans serious anymore.

…In the Dark Days of CU Buff football, We would drop our engineering homework on Saturday Morning and use our Activity Pass to get into the game…Just to see Ralphie run. What a Charge! That and the Black on Black uniforms are vivid memories.
