filed in Players on Sep.10, 2003 by Booty
Here’s an unusual bit of news:
Junior defensive end Matt McChesney has been sued by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for illegally downloading and sharing copyrighted music. McChesney has refused to comment on the matter, except he acknowledged that Rolling Stone magazine has approached him for an interview regarding the suit.
Songs McChesney is accused of downloading according to the suit include: “All Apologies” by Nirvana, “Gold to Me” by Ben Harper, “I’m a Thug” by Trick Daddy, “One Step Closer” by Linkin Park and “She Swallowed It” by NWA.

I’m not so worried about what Barnett will do, but I could just see the NCAA calling him ineligible for accepting “gifts”. Just cuz the NCAA hates us and all.
