Why did we get so hated? The only probation we’ve gotten is because Rick dicked us over, i think it’s our fans, outside a dedicated base of fans, no one at the university cares, and why is that? anyone?

I can’t wait to get the full details on this story. This seems to be a major NCAA exception Marcus Hoston was healthy and available to play in 5 football games last year. That seems to be nearly three times the two games that the NCAA deems as acceptable to gain an extra year of eligibility.
One more storyline to follow here. It goes something like this:
Example A: Heralded recruit and lovable All-American boy is always injured and decides to leave his first team gets an NCAA exception to play an extra year of college football.
Example B: Heralded recruit and lovable Al-American boy excels at two sports and gets along with everbody can’t get an NCAA exemption to play them both.

What a load of crap. If it was the buffs we would have had to wait a year to get his eligibility. I liked Craig and Marcus when the got hear like everyone else. But the turned out to be a pair of whiny brats. Fine go to you other schools. It wont get any better. If you are not durable enough at CU what makes them think that they will be better off somewhere else?
Also i think that the NCAA has a real problem with playing favorites. I am not happy that CU is not one of the favorites. We get screwed all the time. I am sick of it.
Screw CSU if they play Marcus i will put money on the buffs hurting him. If we dont do it, it wont be long before another team will. He dosnt have a strong enough lower body for IA football.
On another note i will be back in boulder Wednesday thru this weekend for my honey moon. I live in nebraska and my wife is a husker and i am trying desprately to convert her to the good side.

Well, personally, I don’t really care. We face CSU once a year and the rest of the year I am ambivalent towards them. I’d love to see Houston actually get on the field and run against everyone but us. Chances are he will be injured for the CU/CSU game anyway. And if he isn’t then I have full faith in our defense to stop him cold and/or hurt him trying.
