Ochs upset over Prayer
filed in Players on Dec.19, 2002
The details haven’t entirely emerged, but apparently Ochs has finally spoken about why he left. The straw that broke his back was when Barnett interupted a team prayer that Craig was leading. Here is a brief synopsis over at Rocky Mountain News. Ochs had to tell his side of the story to move on, not shame Barnett or the team.

o-o-o-OCHS! The second article you posted confirmed the fact that his brother’s name is Jason, aka the big tool. His brother is from Steamboat and one of the people in the world that I have the least respect for.
I guess it runs in the family.

So really Craig, the issues stemed from your not coming back in for the big 12 game and fiesta bowl, along with the offense not featuring you enough? Come on man, being a team player is what football is all about and as a QB you should know that of all people. In high school I was a tight end, my coach told me i was needed on the line. I didnt do it because i loved never touching the ball, I did it because thats where my team needed me. So if this team simply needed you to hand the ball off to a running back, then show some love for this program you supposidly loved so much. Sorry man, I havent’t got a lot of sympathy for you on this one.
