Odds and Ends

I love the all black uniforms that we wore against KSU. They feel tough especially after seeing the team in the all white uniforms at UCLA, which I prefer that we never wear again.
Who’s bright idea was it to give everybody in the stadium a newspaper at the game? Not only did we come out looking horrible on national TV as newspapers swirled all over the field. Nobody in the stadium read anything but the Buffs section of the paper anyway. We live in a supposedly environmentally friendly town. That has to be one of the dumber things that the Denver Rock Mountain Post Camera conglomerate has ever done.
Finally kudos to the band for stepping it up with the “Hey” song. The song was not overplayed but was used at appropriate times to rally the team and the fans. We welcome the band back to the CU faithful.

I agree the white uniforms weren’t the toughest looking things on the field (and the other team was wearing baby blue!) but given the days heat I think they were the right choice. If UCLA had been smart, they would have worn their lights and forced us to wear our black uni’s.

Do you guys remember this? A few years ago we wore black pants, gold jersey’s, and black helmets at a home game. What was that all about?
The black pants and white jersey’s look much better than the all-white get up.

That game with the piss yellow jersey’s was against Baylor. Another one of Ricky’s stupid ideas.

By the way. I do love the all black jersey but I thought that we only wear that for the Nebraska games. What gives?
