We’re beating Nebraska!

I’m watching my tape of the CU-Nebraska game from last year to get hyped up for the upcoming season. Just wanted everyone to know that it’s the end of the first quarter and we’re winning 28-3. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
UPDATE: It’s halftime now and we’re still ahead 42-23. NU has made a move and our defense is reeling a little bit. However, they can’t stop our offense. I have a good feeling we’re going to win this thing.
UPDATE: We looked like crap in the third quarter. NU scored again to bring the score to 42-30. The offense is struggling, but looked like they were getting back on track towards the end of the quarter. I think we will still pull it out. In fact, I’m going to predict a final score of 62-36.
WE DID IT! WE DID IT! I can’t believe how badly we destroyed them. My prediction was right on as we won 62-36. Most points ever scored against Nebraska. We even made their children cry. I wish you all could have seen it, maybe we’ll do it again this year in Lincoln. Fantastic.

Thanks for the game commentary Gampp. I actually missed the game last year b/c I was in Peru, so the recap is great. I can’t believe you predicted the final score. You rock!

While you were watching the game did you stand sideways and when the ball crossed midfield did you stand to face the other way? That’s what I remember about the game. That and being so excited in the first quarter that I could barely breathe. I am one who is known for celebrating a touchdown or two, but I distinctly remember just standing there in awe and not knowing what to do.
As for the crying NU fan I think we should digitize that clip an doffer it up on this site.

Definitely digitize the clip of that kid and put it on the site. That was the crowning moment. I was going crazy. I remember when their band marched on our field (I think ’93) after we lost. Watching that kid cry was sweet revenge.
I was on a cruise watching the game on a watchman. By the end I had a huge group of people around me at the bar all cheering and watching this 5 inch screen. It was great!

For those corn-in-breds who have no life other than to surf over CU websites and talk trash, first of all- CSU is a good football team and underappreciated- not like the Troy States and Alcorn States you play. Secondly, I can’t wait to see Iowa State knock your sorry asses back to the Stone Age on Sept. 28. Third- you wish you had a college town like Boulder and access to the mountains plus a top 25 ranked University to attend (thank God we don’t live in Lincoln). Fourth- remember the t-shirt “The only sign of intelligent life in Lincoln is….(on the back) I-80 Boulder 580 miles.” Suck on that, little red.

The saying,” buffalo sized mouth backed up by a blue bird butt comes to mind”. Iowa State who??? You can’t beat NU by yourselves. Way to bring in a third party. They won’t beat NU anyhow. Tell me what it is like when you aren’t ranked anymore.

I just watched the game from 2000. That had to suck, scoring a TD with 47 seconds left to take the lead and have Nebraska march right down the field and win……again! lol.

I just wondered onto this site and after reading these comments I’ve come to the conclusion that most sport fans are retarded. Dissing on Nebraska won’t help your losing streak CU, or talking about how the camera caught some child who cried after the game. “Digitize it
