I love it. I thnk you are right on. Love the BigXII championship gmae outcome. The game is in Houston. I think if we can beat Texas in Dallas and in Texas we have their number. The lost to UCLA is curious though. I agree that we might not make it through the. non conference schedule unscathed but I’m not sure if a loss to UCLA is where it is going to come.
Also if Nebraska loses to Penn State I would look for them to lost more than 4 this season. Losing to Penns State might just demoralize them.

My thinking on the UCLA loss is that we always seem to come out flat in one of our non-conference games (see Fresno State). I don’t think that will happen verses Colorado State or USC at home. The only other option would be San Diego State, but that is also at home and I don’t think they have the talent to beat us even if we don’t show up. That leaves UCLA, who could be pretty tough in LA. I’d love to see us go 11-1, but we always seem to stumble somewhere and UCLA is my guess. I hope I’m wrong.

With regards to Nebraska, I think Penn State will be much improved this year. I’d give NU more losses, but they really don’t play anyone else. Only other possible losses are to Kansas State and an upset to Iowa State in Ames. I don’t want to get my hopes up though.

I’d love to see us go 12-0. But I think we all know that will be pretty damn tough. I guess of all the people we could lose to I would rather it was OK. But damnit, that game is on my birthday. We can’t lose on my birthday. That’s not right. What kind of present is that? Assholes.
